How do I use SalesScreen TV App?

Display your SalesScreen activity in real-time on any internet connected display.

This guide will show you how to easily display your screens on any device which is running a modern browser and is connected to the internet. To get started, open your browser and go to https://tv.salesscreen.com/

Note: If you are using a Chrome OS device (eg. Chromebox, Chromestick or Chromebook) we recommend using the SalesScreen TV Chrome App. Type in tv.salesscreen.com in your chrome browser and click the download icon at the far right-hand side of the address bar.

When the page (or app) has loaded, you should be greeted with a screen similar to the image below.

Tip: If you browser is not showing the content in full screen mode, you should be able to enter full screen mode by pressing the "F11" button on your keyboard.


Your device is now ready to be paired with one of your configured screens in SalesScreen. To pair it, keep this tab(or window) open, open a new tab (or window) and go to the Screens Page in SalesScreen (https://app.salesscreen.com/#/screens/overview



Once on the Screens Overview page, you will see a list of your screens.

Note: You will only be able to connect screens marked as New (blue status icon), so make sure you disconnect a screen if you want to connect it to a new chrome app instance, and it isn't already marked as New

If the list of screens is empty, you may want to create a new screen before you visit that page again.

Reconnecting a screen that has been connected in the past

If the screen is already online or has already been connected in the past, you will be presented with a disconnect option. Make sure this screen isn't currently used by anyone else in your company before you disconnect it. 

Once you are sure this is the screen you wan't to connect, disconnect it and you will se the button change to Connect this screen. Follow the instructions for new screens.

Connecting a new screen

A new screen is any screen that is marked with a blue dot in the screens overview. Press Connect this screen in the screen settings panel.

A popup will appear and you will be prompted for an activation code.

Enter the 4-digit code displayed earlier on tv.salesscreen.com or in the Chrome App. Press Activate.

Your browser(or Chrome App) should now load the slideshow and the playlists attached to this screen. This browser (or Chrome App) is now paired to the selected screen and will always load its content, until it is either disconnected on the Screen Page, or reset (by pressing "Ctrl+Q") in the slideshow.
