Note:

  • You need admin privileges in Salesforce and SalesScreen to navigate the configurations described in this tutorial.

Navigate to our SalesScreen listing in the AppExchange and click on Get It Now.

There are two ways of testing the SalesScreen AppExchange app in Salesforce before installing it in your production environment; Trialforce and Sandbox.

Trialforce

Trialforce is the name of the Salesforce feature that lets you try start a free trial with our offering preinstalled, even if you don’t have a Salesforce account.

How to

If your not signed in to Salesforce, it will automatically assume that you're requesting a free trial. Alternatively, click on Install in Trial. This will provision you with a 30-day free trial of Salesforce where the app is pre-installed. The free trial is also populated with sample data.

Fill out and submit the form and proceed to follow the instructions you receive in the verification email.

Sandbox

A Sandbox is essentially a copy of your existing Salesforce organization with its objects and records. This allows you to utilize real data when testing third-party apps, like SalesScreen, without any consequences.

How to

You need to be signed in to Salesforce before clicking Get It Now, in order to select the Sandbox installation option. Click on Install in Sandbox. Follow the on-screen prompts to install it in your existing Sandbox environment.

Consult Salesforce's official documentation on how to set up a sandbox here.

When the SalesScreen app is installed in either a free-trial or Sandbox org, you can set up the integration. Follow this article on how to do it.
